Listen to part of a lecture in a biology class. The professor is discussing the behavior of honeybees. "Today, I want to talk about how honeybees communicate, specifically the famous 'waggle dance.' When a forager bee returns to the hive after finding a rich source of nectar, it performs a series of movements that convey information to other bees. The dance consists of a figure-eight pattern. The straight portion of the dance, where the bee waggles its abdomen, indicates the direction of the food source relative to the sun. The duration of the waggle run represents the distance. For example, a longer waggle run means the food is farther away. Interestingly, scientists have found that bees adjust their dance based on the quality of the food source. If the nectar has high sugar content, the bee dances more vigorously and repeats the dance more frequently. This ensures that the hive efficiently allocates foragers to the best available food sources."
❓ 题目 According to the professor, what does the duration of the waggle run indicate?
