Campus Notice: The university will extend the library's hours to 24/7 during finals week, starting from next Monday. The extended hours will apply to the main library only, and additional security staff will be on duty. Students are encouraged to use the quiet study floors for late-night study sessions.

M: Did you see the notice about the library being open all night during finals? I think it's a great idea. I always have to leave at midnight when I'm in the middle of a study flow. W: I get that, but I'm not so sure. I mean, do we really need it 24/7? The library is already crowded, and extra hours might not help if it's still noisy. M: Actually, they're adding more quiet floors, so that should solve the noise issue. Plus, I often pull all-nighters before exams, and having a quiet, safe place to study beats staying in my dorm where my roommate is loud. W: True, but what about the cost? Hiring extra security for the whole night must be expensive. Maybe they could just extend to 2 a.m. instead. M: I see your point, but for me, the convenience is worth it. I'll definitely use it every night.
