Campus Notice: The university will extend the library's weekday hours from 10 PM to midnight starting next semester. This change is intended to accommodate students who need additional study time during exam periods. The extension will also include increased access to research databases and quiet study areas. The library staff will be adjusted to support the new schedule.

Student 1: Did you see the notice about the library staying open until midnight? I think it's a great idea. Student 2: Really? I'm not so sure. It might just encourage students to procrastinate more. Student 1: But I often can't finish my assignments by 10 PM because I have evening classes. Extra hours mean I can actually use the library's resources when I need them. Student 2: I see your point, but the library is already crowded during the day. Extending hours doesn't solve the shortage of study spaces. They should add more rooms instead. Student 1: Well, even if it's crowded, at least we have a quiet option late at night. Plus, the databases are only accessible on campus, so I need those extra hours for research. Student 2: I guess for research it's useful, but I still think it's a waste for most students who just chat there.
