TOEFL Speaking Task 2

Campus Announcement: Extended Library Hours during Finals Week. To accommodate students during the upcoming final examinations, the university library will extend its hours to 24/7 from December 10 to December 20. Additionally, a new quiet study floor will be opened on the third floor to provide more silent study spaces. Students are encouraged to use these resources to reduce stress and improve study efficiency.

M: Did you see the announcement about the library? I think it's great that they're keeping it open all night during finals. I always study better late at night, and sometimes I have to leave at midnight when it closes. Now I can stay as long as I need. W: I agree, but what about the new quiet floor? I'm not sure that's a good idea. The third floor is usually the busiest with group study rooms. Moving all the quiet study there might make it harder to find a place for group projects. M: Oh, I didn't think about that. But I still think the extended hours are more important. Plus, they could have added more group rooms elsewhere. W: True, but the announcement didn't mention that. I just hope they don't disrupt the existing arrangements.
