Campus Announcement: Extended Library Hours During Finals Week. Starting next Monday, the university library will extend its hours to 24/7 for the duration of finals week. Students are encouraged to use the extended hours responsibly.

W: Did you see the announcement about the library staying open all night during finals? I think it's a great idea. M: Really? I'm not so sure. I mean, who's actually going to study at 3 a.m.? W: Plenty of people, especially those with part-time jobs or late classes. I have a friend who works until 10 p.m. and then needs a quiet place to study. Plus, the new quiet floor is perfect for deep focus. M: But think about the cost and safety. More security means more money, and I doubt it's needed if only a few students show up. W: Actually, the extra hours help reduce crowding during the day, and the security makes it safe for everyone. I think it's worth it. M: I see your point, but I still think it's an unnecessary expense.
