M: Did you see the announcement about the library staying open later? I think it's a great idea. W: Really? I'm not so sure. I mean, who's actually going to study at midnight? Most students are asleep by then. M: That's not true! During finals week, the library is packed until closing time. I've had to leave at 10 PM when I was in the middle of a paper. Extra hours would be a lifesaver. W: But what about the cost? Hiring more staff and improving security isn't cheap. The university could spend that money on more important things, like updating the outdated computers. M: Well, I think student success should be a priority. Plus, the extended hours aren't just for finals—many students work during the day and can only study at night. I've heard several commuters complain about the early closing. W: I see your point, but I still think the money could be better spent elsewhere.
