Man: Did you see the announcement about the library? I'm really not happy about it. Woman: Really? I thought it was good news—more hours for studying. Man: Well, the extended hours are fine, but adding a silent study floor is a problem. The current quiet floor is already underused, and many students like to study in groups or with music. Woman: But some people need silence, don't they? Man: True, but the real issue is that they're cutting into the budget for more important things like new computers. I'd rather have better equipment than more empty quiet spaces. Woman: I see your point. I didn't think about the cost. Man: Exactly, and if they want to help students, they should ask us first instead of assuming what we need.
