The quiet floor will be strictly enforced with no group discussions or phone use. The goal is to provide more study space and reduce noise distractions for students during exam periods.

Woman: Did you see the library announcement? I think it's a great idea, especially the 24/7 hours during finals. Last semester, I had to leave at midnight when I was in the middle of studying for my biology exam. It was really frustrating. Man: I agree about the hours, but I'm not so sure about the quiet floor. I mean, I like to study with friends sometimes, and we often discuss problems. But I guess we could use the regular floors for that. Woman: Exactly! The quiet floor is perfect for those who need absolute silence. I remember how hard it was to concentrate last year with people talking and phones ringing. This will definitely help me focus better. Man: Yeah, and having more space overall means we won't have to fight for tables. Plus, with the quiet floor, we can choose the type of environment we need. Woman: Right, and I think it will reduce stress during finals. I'm really looking forward to it.
