Campus Announcement: The university will extend the library hours to 24/7 during finals week. This change aims to provide students with more flexible study spaces. Additionally, the library will add a new quiet study zone on the third floor to accommodate increased demand. The extended hours will be in effect from the Monday before finals to the Friday of finals week.

Student 1 (Sarah): Did you see the announcement about the library staying open 24/7 during finals? I think it's a great idea! Student 2 (Tom): I'm not so sure. It sounds good, but I have some concerns. First, I worry about the noise level. Even with a new quiet zone, I've seen that students often chat in the main areas, and with more people coming at all hours, it could get really distracting. Second, the library staff might be overworked. They'll have to work overnight shifts, and I'm worried they'll be exhausted, which could affect their ability to help us with research questions. Sarah: I see your point, but for me, the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. Having 24/7 access means I can study when I'm most productive, and the new quiet zone should help. Tom: Maybe you're right, but I still think the university should have hired more staff before making this change.
