Many students, like me, work part-time jobs on weekdays and only have time to study on weekends. Cutting Saturday hours from six to four hurts that group. W: I get that, but you can use Sunday through Thursday nights. Besides, the extended finals week hours are crucial for everyone. Plus, the library can save money on weekend staffing, which could fund more study spaces. That's a win. M: Maybe, but not everyone can stay up late. I have friends who are morning people. They prefer Saturday mornings. Still, I admit the 24/5 option gives flexibility for most students, and the cost savings might improve other services. W: Exactly. I support it because it targets peak demands and brings long-term benefits.
