Additionally, a new quiet study zone will be added on the third floor to reduce noise distractions. The extended hours will be in effect for one week only.

M: Did you see the library announcement? I think it's a great idea! W: Really? I'm not so sure. Extending hours to 24/7 seems unnecessary. Most students don't study past midnight. M: But finals week is intense! Many students, including me, prefer late-night study sessions when it's quieter. W: I get that, but the quiet zone is a problem. The third floor is already the quiet floor. Adding another one might confuse people. M: Actually, I think the new quiet zone will help. It gives more space for those who need absolute silence, so there's less conflict with group study areas. W: Hmm, I still think it's overkill. But if it helps you, I won't complain. M: It definitely helps me. I plan to use it every night before my exams.
