Man: Did you see the email about the mandatory meal plan for on-campus students? I can't believe they're forcing us to pay for it! Woman: I know, it's really frustrating. I usually cook my own meals because I have dietary restrictions, but they said only medical or religious needs get exemptions. My preference for vegan food doesn't count. Man: Exactly! And $2,500 for just 10 meals a week? That's way too expensive. I often eat at off-campus places with friends, and this plan will just waste my money on meals I won't use. Woman: Plus, the dining hall closes early on weekends. So even if I wanted to use my meals, I couldn't get dinner on Sundays. This policy is unfair and impractical. Man: I totally agree. They should make it optional, not mandatory.
