M: Did you see the library announcement? I think it's a terrible idea. W: Really? I thought the extra late-night hours would be great for cramming. M: But they're cutting weekend hours! I always study at the library on Saturdays and Sundays. With weekend jobs and family stuff, many of us only have free time on weekends. Plus, late nights aren't healthy – students should sleep, not stay up even later. W: I see your point. But maybe they think exams are mostly on weekdays? M: No, the real issue is that they're taking from weekends to give to weekdays. That hurts commuters and part-time workers. They should have found other ways to save money, like reducing new book purchases.
