I often pull all-nighters before exams, and having a quiet place to study is crucial. Plus, my roommate has a loud gaming habit, so I can't focus in my dorm. Man: I see your point, but I'm not so sure. I mean, we already have a few 24-hour study lounges in the student center. This seems like a waste of money. Woman: But those lounges are always packed, and they're noisy. The library has more private desks and better resources, like printers and reference books. Man: Still, I worry about the cost. Hiring extra staff overnight isn't cheap, and that money could go to more important things like updating the science labs. Woman: True, but a well-rested and prepared student body is also important.
