Woman: Did you see the announcement about the library staying open until 2 AM? I think it's a great idea. I often have to leave at midnight when I'm in the middle of a project, and it's really disruptive. Staying later would let me finish my work without rushing. Man: I see your point, but I'm not so sure. The extra fee bothers me—it's another cost on top of everything else. Plus, I doubt many students will actually use it that late; most people are asleep by then, so it might be a waste of money. Woman: But think about exam week—the library is packed even at midnight. I've seen students sitting on the floor because all the seats are taken. With 2 AM hours, we'd have more time and less stress. And the fee is small—like $10 per semester—which is worth it for the convenience. Man: Maybe you're right, but I still think the money could go to other things, like more books or better computers. The library is already open until midnight, which is late enough for me.
