Additionally, a new quiet study floor will be added on the third level to accommodate students who need silent spaces. The changes aim to reduce noise complaints and provide more flexible study options.

W: Did you see the email about the library? I think it's great that they're staying open all night during finals. M: Really? I'm not so sure. I mean, I usually study at home late, and the library is already crowded then. But adding a quiet floor won't help—most students like to chat in groups. That's why they go to the library. W: But the quiet floor is specifically for people like me who need silence. And 24/7 hours mean I don't have to rush out at midnight. I can take breaks without losing my spot. M: I see your point, but I think the real problem is that the library is too small. Extending hours doesn't create more seats. And the quiet floor might just be empty while the main areas stay packed. W: True, but at least it gives us options. I'm tired of studying in my dorm with distractions. I'll definitely use the midnight hours and the quiet floor.
