This change aims to provide more study time for students during finals and midterms. Additional funding will be allocated to hire part-time staff and increase security measures during the extended hours.

Woman: Did you see the announcement about the library staying open later? I think it's a great idea. I often have to leave at 10 PM right when I'm in the zone. Man: Really? I'm not so sure. I mean, most students are done by then. And the extra cost for staff and security seems wasteful. Woman: But consider commuters like me. We can't go home early, and the dorms are too noisy. I could get so much more done. Man: Still, I think it's only useful during exam weeks, not the whole semester. Plus, the money could be used for more books or better computers. Woman: I see your point, but for me, the quiet late-night hours are worth it. I often have group projects that run late too.
