Campus Announcement: Starting next semester, the university will extend library hours to 24/7 during finals week. This change aims to provide students with more flexible study time. Additionally, a new quiet study floor will be added to reduce noise distractions. The administration believes these improvements will enhance academic performance and student satisfaction.

M: Did you see the announcement about the library? I'm really excited about the 24/7 hours during finals. Last semester, I had to leave at midnight when I was in the middle of studying. Now I can stay as long as I need. W: I agree that extra hours are great, but what about the new quiet floor? I think it's unnecessary. Most students already use headphones, and the library is pretty quiet anyway. Plus, the main study areas have group discussions, so a separate floor might not get much use. M: Well, I actually think the quiet floor is a good idea too. Some students, like me, get distracted easily, and having a dedicated space would really help me focus. It could also reduce complaints from students who want silence. W: I guess you have a point, but I still think the university could spend the money on more important things, like more study rooms or updated computers. But I do appreciate the extended hours. M: Sure, but I think both changes will benefit many students, and I'm glad they're trying new things.
