Campus Announcement: Starting next semester, the university will extend library hours to 24/5 (Sunday night through Friday afternoon) and add a new quiet study floor on the third level. To fund these changes, a small technology fee of $25 per semester will be added to all student fees.

It's only $25, less than a textbook. W: Maybe, but students on tight budgets might disagree. Still, I see your point about the demand. M: Exactly. I think the library is responding to what students actually need.
