Students can access all floors, but food and drinks will be prohibited in the library at all times. The change aims to reduce noise and distractions, and to provide a better study environment for students preparing for exams.

Woman: Did you see the announcement about the library? I'm not happy about it. Man: Really? I think the 24/7 hours during finals are great. I often pull all-nighters then. Woman: Sure, but banning food and drinks? That's too strict. I always bring coffee and snacks to stay focused. Without them, I can't study for long hours. Man: I get that, but people spill things and leave trash, which is annoying. Cleaner space is better. Woman: But the real problem is noise, not food. People talking and playing videos are way more distracting. They should enforce quiet rules instead. Man: Maybe, but at least the extra hours help. Woman: Still, I think it's the wrong approach. If they want a better study space, they should have quiet zones and allow snacks in designated areas.
