Campus Announcement: Starting next semester, the university will extend the library's opening hours to 24/7 during finals week. This change aims to provide students with more flexible study time. To accommodate this, the library will hire additional part-time staff and increase security measures. The new schedule will be in effect only during the final examination period each semester.

M: Did you see the announcement about the library staying open all night during finals? I think it's a great idea. I always struggle to find a quiet place to study late at night, especially before exams. This gives us more options. W: I see your point, but I'm not so sure. The extra staff and security will cost a lot of money. Where is that money coming from? Probably from our fees. I'd rather they spent that on more books or better computers. M: But think about the benefits. Many students, like me, work part-time during the day and can only study at night. Plus, the library is much safer than studying in dorm lounges or coffee shops. I think it's worth the cost. W: I still think it's unnecessary. Most students can manage their time well enough. And if they need quiet, they can go to the study rooms in the dorms, which are already open 24/7. M: True, but those rooms are often crowded and noisy. The library has a better environment with all the resources we need. I'm sure many students will use it.
