Campus Announcement: Extended Library Hours Starting Next Month, the university library will extend its operating hours from 10:00 PM to midnight on weekdays. This change aims to provide more study time for students, especially during exam periods. Additionally, the library will add a new quiet study zone on the third floor to accommodate students who prefer a distraction-free environment. The extended hours will be funded by a small increase in the student activity fee.

M: Did you see the email about the library staying open later? I think it's a great idea. I'm always rushing to finish my assignments before 10 PM. W: I agree, but I'm a bit worried about the fee increase. I mean, I already pay a lot for tuition. M: True, but the extra fee is only a few dollars per semester. And think about the benefits: more time to study and a dedicated quiet zone. That's worth it, especially for those of us who live in noisy dorms. W: I suppose you're right. The quiet zone is actually a big plus for me. I get distracted easily, and it's hard to find a silent place at night. M: Exactly. Plus, staying open until midnight means we can use the library's resources longer, like the computers and research databases. That's really helpful for big projects. W: Okay, you've convinced me. I'm all for it now.
