📖 Đoạn văn

The transition to renewable energy sources is often hailed as a crucial step toward mitigating climate change. However, a complete shift to renewables by 2050 is not only impractical but also potentially harmful to global economies and ecosystems. Three primary reasons support this claim. First, renewable energy sources like solar and wind are inherently intermittent. They depend on weather conditions and time of day, making them unreliable as baseload power sources. Without massive and costly energy storage solutions, grids would face frequent blackouts, disrupting industries and daily life. Second, the manufacturing of renewable technologies requires rare earth elements and minerals such as lithium, cobalt, and neodymium. Mining these materials causes significant environmental degradation, including habitat destruction and water pollution, and often occurs in regions with lax labor regulations, leading to social exploitation. Third, the economic cost of transitioning is prohibitive for developing nations. Building new solar farms, wind turbines, and grid infrastructure requires enormous capital investments that many countries cannot afford, thereby widening the gap between rich and poor nations and slowing global economic growth.
